He is a winner on good ground but is better suited to a soft surface as he proved when winning at Lingfield. The selection may also be better with more give underfoot, but conditions were faster than advertised when he scored at Ludlow and he showed an impressive turn of foot to settle the issue. His rider's claim means he receives weight from his chief rivals and that will make him hard to beat.
