Won a Grade 2 hurlde at Cheltenham in December but form of that not strong, and in truth, he's not gone on from that. This a little easier but even so, has yet to conclusively prove he wants three miles, and others make more appeal.
Winner of three of his last five, steadily improving in the process, and has shown a liking for quick ground, so has plenty of plus points. Promises to stay three miles and form of Grade 3 win at Thurles last time looks solid. Big chance here.
Fast improving sort, winner of 2 from 2 over hurdles and caused a minor upset when turning over the long odds-on Umdeni at Wincanton last time. Deserves a crack at a good prize and shrewd yard wouldn't be running him without a chance. Interesting.
Another that's improving quickly, couldn't have won his last two starts any easier than he has done and has shown he stays 3m well in the process. Track should suit (tends to jump right-handed) and may not have finished improving yet.
Two good runs from his last four, both at Kelso, not beaten far by classy opponents either time and not disgraced in the Scottish Champion Hurdle latest. However, this trip has to be a concern, with best form at shorter. On that, others preferred.
Took his form to a new level when a game second to the useful Finawn Bawn at Huntingdon last time out, that coming off the back of a win at Ludlow. This trip a question mark though, so may need to improve again if he's to come out on top.
Forecasts
Go Another One (2/1), Eur Gone West (9/4), Coolanly (3/1), Captain Tommy (10/1), Kingofthecotswolds (12/1), Get Out The Gate (18/1)
Both Captain Tommy and Eur Gone West are on rapidly upward curves and are given maximum respect, but they are both going up in grade too and on that, preference is for GO ANOTHER ONE, a ready winner at Grade 3 level last time and represents a yard that are 3-10 with their runners here. Coolanly has some Graded form in the bank too, but it's not that strong, and he's a bit to prove now.
