Different proposition since sent chasing with ready wins at Musselburgh (2m4½f) and Kelso (2m1f) handling a sound surface and jumping fluently. 5lb rise for most recent win doesn't temper enthusiasm and hat-trick likely.
2lb higher than third chase success landed at Kelso in October. Ran terribly at Catterick next but had a break since and gone well fresh in the past so expectant of a much more solid showing today.
Cartmel winner last May has made the frame on five of his six starts since. Eased 1lb despite another solid second at Musselburgh most recently and looks sure to go well as usual here.
1-17, having scored over hurdles at Downpatrick (2m3f, good) in 2017. Lost form after that and not seen from September of that year until pulled up before four out at Market Rasen last month. Now can only be watched.
Not won since Boxing Day 2017 but handicap has continued to slide and latest third of five at Wetherby shows ability does remain. Not totally ruled out although others slightly more compelling.
SPORTING PRESS remains a chaser to stay on the right side of having won his first two starts and Keith Dalgleish's chaser can beat these more exposed rivals to make it three-from-three. Veteran Civil Unrest has less question marks than Middlebrow although the latter may be the better handicapped of the pair.
