Returned from 15-month absence and ran well at Newbury in March but may have 'bounced' when a one-paced third at Wetherby last time. Blinkers now applied to concentrate his mind and has been eased 1lb.

Wears a first time tongue-tie and cheekpieces and is still 4lb higher than when scoring at around this trip at Market Rasen three starts ago. Finished tired and may have needed run after winter break when distant third there last month.

Yard has more than £99 profit to level stakes and has plenty of winners at this venue. Won over 2m here back in 2015 and scored over 2m7f at Market Rasen last time, staying on well off 5lb lower mark. Should be on the premises once again.

Won over 2m4f at Huntingdon penultimate start and only gave best 100 yards out at around this trip at Haydock last time off 6lb higher. Raised further 2lb but this easier track should help and won't be far away given current form.

Yard without a winner for nearly five months and pulled up at Newton Abbot on Saturday. Hard to see him bouncing back from that and makes little appeal.

Won at Hereford over nearly 2m4f last month and third at Plumpton last time off 7lb higher mark. Up another 1lb and not certain to see out this longer trip but yard has few jumpers and is in blistering form on Flat at present.

Acertain Circus (7/4), Desert Sensation (2/1), Bazarov (4/1), Scented Lily (6/1), Heresmynumber (12/1), Hear The Chimes (16/1), Linguine (33/1)

Verdict

SCENTED LILY appeared to need the run when tiring markedly close home last time following her winter break. With that effort under her belt and with cheekpieces and tongue-tie now appllied she has every chance. Bazarov represents a bang in-form yard having its first runner at this track so, despite stamina doubts, is very much respected. Top weight Desert Sensation is quite capable of playing his part and won't be far away, while both Acertain Circus and Hear The Chimes have chances if running up to their best in an interesting contest.
