Only 10th in Grand Annual Chase at Cheltenham when sent off favourite but won well previous start and remains unexposed as a chaser. Unfortunate to unseat since at Ayr when hampered on landing. Sights lowered here and big chance.

Had some really solid form late last season but only made the racecourse twice this term and not performed to a similar level. Well capable off this mark if bouncing back after a layoff but not certain to do so.

Six-time chase winner including twice last summer. Held in small field contests last autumn suggesting handicapper now has his measure and up against it at this higher level.

Been well and truly in the doldrums on the most part this season but recent third in a first-time visor (retained) was a clear step on the comeback trail. Can do better soon then but 8lb out of the handicap today so up against it here.

Magic Saint (4/6), Full Irish (11/4), Wells De Lune (4/1), Sizing Platinum (11/2), Ink Master (8/1)

Verdict

Having been largely disappointing so far over fences former smart French performer MAGIC SAINT gets this drop in class and he surely will take an awful lot of beating with the majority of his rivals having doubts themselves for one reason or other. Sizing Platinum's form around this time last year would make him a very real threat and Ink Master is probably capable of going well back on his favoured ground.
