Point-to-point winner over 3m at Chaddesley Corbett (good-to-firm) last May and ran a fair race when 22L fourth in a maiden hurdle at Warwick (2m5f) on Rules and stable debut last month. Interesting to see how he fares.
Point-to-point winner on yielding ground at Boulta in December but well held in two soft ground hurdles starts since joining this stable. Better ground forecast may bring about an improved effort.
Dual Flat winner but form tailed off in that sphere during 2016 and finished well held in two starts for previous yard last spring. Interesting switched to hurdles on debut for a useful yard.

Placed on five of his six hurdles starts so far including when a head second over an extended 2m3f at Ascot (good) three weeks ago. Likely to prove hard to beat under a promising conditional jockey.

Finished a well beaten 33L third when sent off favourite for a small field bumper over an extended 2m at Doncaster (good) on debut early last month. Probably best watched on hurdling debut.

Soft-to-heavy ground point-to-point winner in Ireland 12 months ago and showed promise in two starts in bumpers earlier this season. Fell on hurdles debut but still in front when unseating four out at Haydock (2m7f, soft) last time.

Never involved prior to finishing 106L 15th of 16 in a 2m bumper on good-to-soft ground on debut here in February. Others hold stronger claims on debut over hurdles.

Fair effort in finishing sixth in a good ground bumper at Uttoxeter on debut last June. Had wind surgery prior to 91L sixth over the same C&D in December. Others make more appeal on hurdling bow.
Good ground point-to-point winner at Lingstown in November and fair efforts in two starts over hurdles so far. Given a break since 34L sixth at Ludlow (2m, good-to-soft) in January and interesting to see how she performs.

Forecasts

Volcano (2/7), Escort'namix (4/1), Sunday Session (5/1), Win My Wings (7/1), Iona Lad (16/1), Vivre Pour Vivre (20/1), My Foxy Lady (20/1), Gilwen Gracelyn (40/1), Taaffes Castle (50/1)

Verdict

VOLCANO was narrowly beaten at Ascot last time out and he can go one better than when finishing runner-up that day. Escort'namix showed ability in bumpers and was still in front when unseating at Haydock last time out and he can take second ahead of Vivre Pour Vivre who is making his hurdles debut on first outing for this yard.
  1. Volcano
  2. Escort'namix
  3. Vivre Pour Vivre
