Trainer Tony Martin has a good record in this race with Voices Of Spring (2015) and Tudor City (2017) landing the spoils, while Tayto Park hit the frame for the yard in 2016. The Co. Meath handlers' MR EVEREST can land the opener here following a couple of eye catching maiden hurdle efforts last term including a second of 19 at the Galway festival. The six-year-old was kept to the Flat subsequently going on to win a 53K contest at Naas when last seen in November. Joseph O'Brien saddled the first two home in this contest 12 months ago and his five-year-old Galileo gelding, Galilean can emerge as the biggest danger. Batts Rock and Calicojack are worthy of further consideration.
