Just 1-12 on turf but has gone close from higher marks than this in the past and shouldn't lack fitness having been campaigned on the AW this winter. Has speed for this mission.
Far from consistent, best form is over 5f but two very poor runs on AW (5f) and at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) so far in 2019 and watching brief seems wise for now. Tongue tie added.
Best form has come on the straight course at Beverley so will have to corner effectively here, lacks a bit of consistency but in decent form most recently on the AW, ensuring he's given a chance.
Seven-time career winner, though most recent of those was over C&D back in the summer of 2017. Form in six starts either side of wind operation doesn't inspire any confidence.
No win since August 2017 and just 2-28 strike rate over career. Ended last year out of form on the AW but twice made the frame over C&D from 7lb higher mark in September. Capable of big run fresh.
Mare is a regular here, took advantage of low mark to win at Catterick (5f, good to firm) last summer, before running well in trio of visits here without winning. Has won here from 2lb higher in the past; seasonal bow.
Was rated in the mid-80s a couple of years ago for Eve Johnson-Houghton. Improving with racing in five starts for this trainer; latest when second at Pontefract earlier this week. Runs from the same mark and worth considering now.
All career wins (3-33) have come on artificial surfaces, not really threatening in that sphere over the winter and well held this C&D early in the month returned to turf. Eased 3lb by the assessor.
Showed good form in three C&D runs in the autumn, culminating with victory (Kinloch Pride second) off a mark 1lb lower in September. Few positives to be found in AW campaign over the winter; needs return here to spark enthusiasm.

Super Julius (5/2), Chookie Dunedin (3/1), Suwaan (9/2), Gold Stone (6/1), Amazing Grazing (6/1), Lord Of The Glen (17/2), Kinloch Pride (12/1), Rumshak (12/1), Orient Class (14/1), Jeffrey Harris (20/1)
Having been rated in the 80s a couple of years ago Super Julius looks up to the challenge of winning a race for these connections. He's in form and found just one too good at Pontefract early in the week, he should be in the mix again. Preference is for SUWAAN today, with Ruth Carr's charge twice having gone close over C&D in the autumn from much higher in the ratings. He typically runs well off a short break and so this might be the day to catch him. Amazing Grazing and Chookie Dunedin are considered for the minor money.
