As game and genuine as they come, stuck her head down to win again at Bangor latest but handicapper now asks for plenty more (upped 9lb for that) and this shorter trip may not be ideal. Nevertheless, is given respect as one that likes winning.
Has 3l to find with The Bay Birch on their Bangor running last time out, and the shorter trip/weight pull gives her every chance of turning the form around. Not the most consistent around but chances on a going day.
Was made favourite to beat The Bay Birch at Bangor but disappointed, not for the first time either, and hard to see where the necessary improvement is coming from if she's to turn it around today.
Came good at Ffos Las two starts ago (good to soft, slightly shorter trip) but couldn't follow that up at Carlisle last time, and in truth she's been a beaten favourite too many times to fully trust. Ability is there, but risky.
Made every yard to win at Hereford in December but has been well beaten in two starts since then, and was well behind The Bay Birch at Bangor last time out. On that alone, others readily preferred.
Ready winner at Uttoxeter in January but then reverted to her inconsistent self when well beaten at Hereford in a weaker race next time out. Capable but very risky, and may want softer ground than she'll encounter here anyway.
Stays this trip and likes good ground, can look short of pace at times but nothing wrong with her second at Market Rasen last time and now cheekpieces given a try. Will give it a go but may ultimately come up short.
Forecasts
Dauphine Ereine (10/3), Molly Carew (4/1), Skewiff (4/1), Biddy The Boss (5/1), Troubled Soul (11/2), The Bay Birch (7/1), Still Believing (16/1)
Dauphine Ereine would appear to have a great chance of reversing form with THE BAY BIRCH on their Bangor running last time out but such is The Bay Birch's will to win that she may well confirm the form despite having more to do. Troubled Soul may be best of the rest, although some money for Biddy The Boss would be interesting.
