Failed to score so far in eight attempts over fences but he's been ultra-consistent (deserves plenty of credit); finished runner-up for third time in four races last time. Form of his last start has already been franked; good chance of scoring here.
Well supported when taking advantage of a reduced mark to score at Ayr (2m4f); still room for improvement in his jumping. Did win that with a bit in hand but his usual blunders prevented a repeat at Hexham last time; fencing needs to be spot on now.
Well tuned up by his former handler to score off a break last August at Stratford but his form since has been nowhere near that level apart from when returned to the same track. Ran dismally on his first start for this yard, needs to jump far better.
Pair of hurdles wins a year ago remain his best form (bleak performance over timber last time). Had been chasing prior to that turning in a decent effort when second over C&D with proving a threat; work to do here to get involved given recent record.
