Landed 11th career win when scoring at Sedgefield three starts ago off 2lb lower mark but has never reached a place here from five previous attempts and has been well beaten last two outings.
Good jockey reunited with this mare on whom he scored two starts ago off a 5lb lower mark. She wasn't disgraced last time and if the combination click again she may not be far away.
12-race maiden but went close to breaking her duck last time out at Sedgefield when losing out by just a neck off this mark. Has run poorly here though on three previous visits so on balance may find a few too good once again.
Beat Ringaringarosie by a neck at Sedgefield last month and is 3lb worse off now. Subsequently disappointing favourite on return visit to that track when distant fourth and will do well to confirm the placings with old rival.
0-10 under Rules but has seemed to run a little better last two starts since undergoing wind surgery. Doesn't look a straight-forward ride but may not be too far away if on a going day.
Veteran who popped up at 25/1 last time out at Newcastle off 3lb lower mark and also won two starts earlier at Segfield. None too consistent but in a poor race should be right in the thick of the action.
18-race maiden who has only reached the frame on one occasion. Runs off correct mark for first time in five starts and wasn't completely disgraced at Wetherby last time. Not a complete no-hoper.
Forecasts
Miss Amelia (5/2), Johnny Yuma (11/4), Ringaringarosie (3/1), Casimir Du Clos (11/2), Duhallowcountry (16/1), Roxyfet (20/1), Early Boy (22/1)
It's very hard indeed to be confident about any of these mainly disappointing horses, but at least the veteran DUHALLOWCOUNTRY is in form having won 2-3 of late and he may add to his tally. Casimir Du Clos may confirm recent superiority over Ringaringarosie but isn't one to rely on, so Miss Amelia may be the biggest danger with Daryl Jacob back on board. She has fair claims.
