Win and a place from three starts over C&D. Recently seen struggling somewhat over hurdles and has a bit to find back in this company.
Winner for John Butler at Kempton last October but is yet to hit the ground running for new connections. Including when last of 16 tailed off on latest start at Navan last month. easy to look elsewhere.
Running well in defeat towards the end of the year before finishing 4¾L adrift of Georgian Bay on first start for three months here over 1m in a claimer. Possibilities in first-time visor.
Standout effort when winning a 1m novice at Kempton in August for William Knight, but not repeated that form in a number of starts for new connections. Needs to improve on even her best form to play a role.
One from six over C&D the win coming on his penultimate start last month. Has subsequently landed a 1m4f handicap here off a 3lb higher mark and another bold show looks likely.
Not seen since finishing 22nd of 23 in a Curragh 1m2f handicap beaten 25L in September. Others look more convincing at this level.
Winner off a mark of 60 at Newcastle last August, but nothing since then including on most recent start earlier this month in a 1m4f handicap here finishing sixth of 15 beaten 5L when looking one paced in the closing stages.
Form of his second of 12 beaten 3½L here over C&D last month has produced a couple of winners as well as a 57% win and place strike. Six from 36 over C&D and deserves a change of luck.
Gelding by Red Jazz out of a Singspiel mare. Well held when finishing down the field on a couple of starts here towards the end of the year, before a 13L defeat behind Ciao in January. Well below par form looks set to continue here.
Solid and consistent C&D form winning one of her five starts over the combination and hitting the frame on a further three occasions. Another one in the field that deserves a change of luck and entitled to be on the shortlist.
Well held at Leopardstown on latest start but showed hints of a return to form in a couple of starts previously. Trainer has a rigid 45% win and place strike rate in this month at this track in the last couple of seasons.
13-race maiden without a win in seven starts on various AW surfaces. Seventh of 11 well held in a 2m contest here beaten 17L last month. Has a bit to prove at present.
Lightly raced on the Flat, still a maiden in 11 turf starts and a couple of poor performances here on the AW. Hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Wild Shot (11/8), Sharjah (9/2), Spanish Dawn (5/1), Exclusive Waters (8/1), Heir of Excitement (11/1), Getgo (16/1), Patrick Joseph (16/1), Quite Subunctious (20/1), Jazzy J (25/1), Progressive Dawn (25/1), Alpine Peak (28/1), Elzaa (33/1), Connemera Queen (50/1)
WILD SHOT can land the closing race of the day here following up on a couple of gutsy wins at this venue last month including a win over C&D. The five-year-old can defy a 3lb penalty to secure a hat-trick of wins at the track since the turn of the year, holding off the attentions of fellow C&D winners, Sharjah who has finished behind the selection on the last two occasions and Spanish Dawn who deserves a change in fortunes round here.
