Forecasts

Space Blues (11/8), Turgenev (9/4), Waldstern (13/2), Kaloor (9/1), Headman (9/1), Dashing Willoughby (12/1), King Ottokar (14/1), Stormwave (20/1), Target Zone (20/1), Power Of States (25/1), Floating Artist (40/1)

Verdict

Several of these have classic aspirations so it would be no surprise were the winner go on to make a name for himself this summer. Turgenev looked promising before disappointing when fancied for a big prize in the autumn, but he still had Dashing Willoughby and King Ottokar behind and can finish in front of that pair again. However, there are four colts who won their only races in Kaloor, Power Of States, Stormwave and SPACE BLUES and it is the red-hot early form of his stable which earns the latter the vote. Others to consider in what should be a most informative race are Waldstern, Floating Artist and Headman.
  1. Space Blues
  2. Stormwave
  3. Turgenev
