Eased 15lb in the handicap since November after a series of moderate fforts. Clearly struggling for form at present but has fallen to an attractive rating if able to recapture a little old form.

Won over C&D recently beating Oliver's Gold by seven lengths. Runs off 8lb higher mark now but still has god claims and will make a bold bid to follow up.

Previous C&D winner now 3lb better off at the weights with Las Tunas prior to rider's 5lb claim for recent clash, so there may not be much between them again. Could reverse placings if ridden a shade handier this time.

Versatile veteran who scored twice earlier this season before weakening quickly at Catterick in December. Returns from wind surgery and the handicapper may have his measure now.

Forecast

Las Tunas (6/4), Oliver's Gold (9/4), Fair Loch (9/2), Grand Coureur (15/2), Reverse The Charge (10/1)

Verdict

LAS TUNAS beat Oliver's Gold with a bit in hand here last time and despite a swing in the weights the professionally ridden Las Tunas is fancied to confirm the form. Fair Loch is undeniably welh andicapped on the pick of his efforts last season but is in the doldrums and has shown little sign of returning to winning ways. A wind op may help Reverse The Charge but a place may prove the best he can hope for.
  1. Las Tunas
  2. Oliver's Gold
  3. Reverse The Charge
