Pops up now again but usually when it is a lot softer. Appears to have developed a wayward attitude judged on her last two starts so best watched for now.
1-10 over fences but down to a dangerous mark if she can recapture her form. Has been poor on last few starts and softer ground seems to bring out the best in her.
Penultimate run resulted in a harsh rise in the weights but she is back to her last winning mark. Won her bumper here so these tight turns are not a problem and she is one of the more likely ones if on one of her going days.
Giant mare scored under this rider at Thurles when her task was made easier by the departing favourite. Has run well in defeat since and she has the scope to improve again.
Won a 3m Thurles chase on heavy ground last season. Shaped well here last month but the drop to this trip on quicker ground is a concern.
Off the mark over timber when landing a handicap hurdle in July. Improved on previous chase efforts when sent off favourite last time and would have been closer but for errors plus she may still have needed the run. Up 5lb but looks up to the task.
Has been let down by her jumping lately but her penultimate outing at Leopardstown and a prior Clonmel effort suggest she can be a player if eliminating the errors.
Struggled since returning to action in October including a heavy 51L defeat in a Naas beginners chase in January before failing to complete at Thurles last month. Will need to raise overall profile to play a role.
Forecasts
Bee A Beneficiary (13/8), Kilbarry Calling (7/4), Presenting Mahler (8/1), Simple Steps (10/1), Ballybrowney Walk (10/1), Elusive Theatre (14/1), Head Turner (20/1), Ilsnepasserontpas (28/1)
There are question marks against all of these, but the Queally yard are going well and BEE A BENEFICIARY should recover Thurles losses if jumping any better or being ridden closer to the pace than was the case when failing to land a gamble 19 days ago. Kilbarry Calling has taken well to fences and goes well for today's rider, whilst Ballybrowney Walk simply needs to jump better. Head Turner and Simple Steps would appreciate some rain, but Presenting Mahler is much better handicapped than last time and she has gone well here in the past.
