60-rated on the Flat (AW); never a factor weakened rapidly on hurdles debut over C&D in September (100-1). Has undergone wind operation since but best watched.
Shaped with some degree of promise in Plumpton bumper (2m1½f, good; 33-1) in February when sporting first-time tongue-tie (retained). Makes hurdles bow, with scope for progress.
Well held in two bumpers at Ludlow and Ascot thus far, though did show some promise on debut in December. Goes jumping for the first time and has improvement to find.
Sister to the useful bumper/hurdle/Flat winner Cousin Khee, but showed very little on hurdles bow over C&D last month on good ground (sent off 150-1), beating only two of 11 rivals home.
Getaway mare; half-sister to the triple 2m hurdle winner Hearts Are Trumps; tailed off on bumper debut last month at Sedgefield (2m1f, soft) was sent off 7-1 to may yet prove her ability.
Winner of a 1m2f Class 5 seller at Redcar in October for former handler Richard Hannon; has also won with cut in the ground on the level; hurdles debut for Donald McCain.
Solid efforts in defeat at Fontwell (2m1½f, good to soft) and Market Rasen (2m4½f, good) came before finding Grade 2 novice at Newbury too hot last month. Drop in trip/sights lowered, should go well in this.
0-3 in bumpers thus far but promise shown in latter starts at Doncaster and Taunton make her one to pay attention to now commencing her hurdles career.
Wetherby bumper winner in December for Nigel Tinkler and good effort in third here a month later having been purchased for £18,000 by current connections. Should have a future over jumps.
Forecasts
So Lonely (5/4), Conchita (5/2), Toodlepip (7/2), See The Sea (12/1), Fatima Blush (20/1), Mick Mona (33/1), Potters Away (40/1), Avocet (40/1), Millie Khee (150/1)
Having found a graded novices' handicap at Newbury too hot for her liking last month, this looks a sold chance for SO LONELY to open her account over timber, with previous form shown at Fontwell and Market Rasen suggesting she's up to it. Wetherby bumper winner Conchita ran well here in January on debut for current connections and can be a player going over hurdles while similar sentiments go for Toodlepip after some positive signs in a three-race bumper career.
- So Lonely
- Conchita
- Toodlepip
