Dam won the Jebel Hatta and Dubai Duty Free (both Group 1s) at Meydan; has demonstrated clear ability on the AW (Chelmsford and Lingfield); very tough to beat on handicap debut based upon his 5L third to the exciting Dubai Warrior.
Son of New Approach; runner-up over 1m on varying surfaces at Carlisle (heavy) and Brighton (good to firm) - the latter on debut for Archie Watson; eased when beaten on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (1m1f+).
7f Leicester winner (good to firm) in August 2018; beaten just over 1L by Queen Constantine on sole previous visit to Nottingham (1m+); gelded for seasonal reappearance; tries a new trip.
€34,000 yearling; has disappointed since making a reasonable debut at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) in July 2018; bred to be suited by a longer trip (brother to the 1m4f-1m5f winner Bolder Bob); handicap debut.
Six-race maiden; 3L runner-up on nursery debut at Carlisle in September (6f, heavy); back from a winter break with a staying on Class 6 third to Lee Roy at Kempton (1m); debatable as to whether or not he really craves 1m2f.
Placed at odds of 200/1 in a 1m maiden here in October (good), but precious few positives to take from her other four starts; cost a mere £1,500 as a yearling; dam was closely related to a stayer.
£3,500 yearling; finished 1½L third to War Eagle (John Gosden) on nursery debut at Wolverhampton (1m1f+) in November; could continue to progress now upped in trip, but likely to face more suitable assignments in the future.

Forecasts
Nabbeyl (11/10), Mayfair Spirit (9/2), Silkstone (5/1), Robert Fitzroy (8/1), Whenapoet (8/1), Startego (9/1), Amorously (12/1), Fantastic Ms Fox (16/1), Cuban Sun (40/1)
Look no further than NABBEYL who promises to be very tough to beat on handicap debut based upon his fine third to the exciting Galileo colt Dubai Warrior at Chelmsford (1m) in November. He backed that up with another fairly solid effort at Wolverhampton (1m½f) a few weeks later, and an opening mark of 77 isn't overly prohibitive. Of the remainder, the likes of Silkstone, Amorously and Whenapoet are all much of a muchness going by course form (1m½f) from November 2018.
