Nibbled at in the market ahead of his debut, when a well beaten last of 13 at Kempton in November. Returns from a break, steps up in trip and switches to turf, but much more needed.
22-1 on debut but outperformed those odds by some margin when 1L second at Newcastle (1m2f, AW). Step up in trip and that experience both look positive, and should be very competitive here.
Made a promising debut at Sandown (1m, good to soft) in August, but not as good next time at Salisbury on fast ground. Pedigree suggests that this step up in trip will suit him, and he is a contender.
