Didn't stay 2m7f on heavy ground at Exeter but the drop in trip here is a plus and cheek pieces now tried. Open to improvement on this handicap debut.
Won a chase at Hereford in January last year but not in the same form since including when tried over hurdles last time though this represents a drop in class.
Generally seen over fences these days but ran well over C&D in January on only hurdles run since 2017. A repeat of that would put him in the shake up.
Has lost his way over fences and now returns to hurdles for the first time since March 2017 but that was a victory on soft ground off this mark so can't be dismissed.
Has his conditions but sole hurdles win was in 2016 and although running creditably, may find a couple too strong.
Won a soft ground Point-to-point last summer and although he has shown little over hurdles to date, this step up in trip now handicapping could see him in better light and certainly one to note in the betting.
Has been brought along with handicaps in mind so open to improvement now although this will be the softest ground he has ever encountered. One to note.
Not far behind Gone Platinum here in January and although in the veteran stage, he does go well here and has conditions to suit.
Very lightly raced but shaped with plenty of promise after a lay off at Huntingdon but went backwards on next start. That may have come too soon but does have something to prove.
Sandown third over 2m in December reads quite well here but looked a non-stayer when trying this trip on latest.
9L runner up to an improving type over 2m6f here on penultimate start. Course form always a plus at this track so has to be respected here.
Showing improved form until blunder at the last when last seen. Could be progressing slowly but that was on good ground and form on soft ground needs improving.
Won a seller in January last year but struggled since and well beaten third in a seller on penultimate start. Not hard to look elsewhere.
Pulled up on first run for two years (blinkers tried then now dispensed with). Needs huge improvement to play a part.
Regressive maiden and only form in the past was on a sound surface so hard to make a case for.

SHAUGHNESSY is open to progress now handicapping and if the headgear has a positive effect, may be able to give the weight away. Cottonvale ran well in defeat here two starts ago and is a threat while Stream Lady could take off now handicapping at this trip and has to be monitored in the betting.
