A maiden in point-to-points, a chase and over hurdles, so this looks some way beyond his capabilities off topweight judged on another tame effort last time.
Modest Flat maiden is yet to strike a telling blow over hurdles and he has several pounds to find in order to do so here.
Got within 3L of Mick Jazz over hurdles once upon a time but his recent form makes less pleasant reading.
Responded well to this headgear combination to score easily at Clonmel. An 8lb rise in the weights could have been worse and he would be the one to beat if the aids continue to work.
Not much to shout about in maiden hurdles at Galway, Cork and Limerick. Looks vulnerable on handicap debut after a few months off.
Longstanding maiden who was tenth of eleven here last month and is yet to improve from a modest base.
Has been out the back in her three completed starts but could offer more now handicapping with a fully fledged rider on board for the first time.
First two starts in handicaps have not seen him mount a serious challenge, but his pedigree suggests he should be winning races at this level over this shorter trip. Worth a look in the market in a race as bad as this.
Return to hurdling in December failed to bring about an improved performance and hard to recommend in midst of poor sequence. Hood added to tongue-tie.
20-race maiden under both codes who was pulled-up in December on his return from a layoff. Another break since raises fitness doubts.
Yet to make the frame in 13 starts over hurdles but doubtful he has contested anything as bad as this. Nevertheless, he has a six month absence to overcome and only a market move would make him interesting.
Has finished no better than mid-division in his 11 starts and there has been little to suggest that there is enough ability lurking within.
12-race maiden hurdler who has failed to finish three of his five disappointing handicap hurdle starts to date. Form doesn't warrant support here.

This is terribly poor and affords SCOTCH QUAY an excellent opportunity to follow up an easy Clonmel success when today's headgear produced an improve display. An 8lb rise does not seem excessive and he looks the obvious choice. A market move for any of his rivals would have to be heeded as there could be a few of these who are ready to improve on what they have shown hitherto. Onefortherose, The Chapel Field and Sillogue Pio are three who would have to be taken seriously if there was any sign of positivity in pre-race trading.
