5/1
Has snippets of decent form over hurdles - including at this course - but he's 0-3 over fences and is yet to convince that he's in love with chasing. Others make more appeal on these terms.

All Is Good37
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-9| J: J E Moore| T: R Dickin| OR:  106
11/4
Well weighted in comparison to his hurdles form and has so far been consistent over fences. Yet to win in this sphere but gave much higher rated rivals a big scare last time out. Solid chance if able to take another step forward.

Thomas Blossom27
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-8| J: James Best| T: R C Harper| OR:  105
33/1
Won over both hurdles and fences in his last two starts for his former trainer but not so effective on debut for new yard at Leicester in early March. More to do now.

Ploughed through the second-last fence at Fakenham last time and finished a tired and well beaten horse. That was his chasing debut and likely the drop in trip will suit. Going right handed might help here but improvement needed.

Deadly Approachb1,t17
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mr Jason Dixon(7)| T: S-J Davies| OR:  102
15/2
The pick of his chase form is more respectable than the levels he posted in his last two starts; better judged on his third place effort at Haydock in January. The blinkers might sharpen him up but he's another with something to prove at present.

Triple Chiefp17
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-3| J: Bryan Carver(7)| T: J D Frost| OR:  100| CD
2/1
Won over C&D from a 6lb higher mark last February but best recent form has been posted in weaker company than he faces here. Has gone well for today's rider but more on his plate this time.

Full Shift27
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-3| J: Benjamin Poste| T: R Brotherton| OR:  100
25/1
Not won since December 2015 but on a handy mark if able to recapture any of his hold sparkle. That's a big if judging by recent form though. Others make more appeal.

Polo The Mummb,t37
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-0| J: Jamie Bargary| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR:  82
14/1
Exposed as ordinary and his recent third, although respectable for the grade, was in weak company. This is a tougher assignment and he'll do well to make the frame again from just out of the weights.

Forecasts

Triple Chief (2/1), All Is Good (11/4), Floresco (5/1), Come On Charlie (7/1), Deadly Approach (15/2), Polo The Mumm (14/1), Full Shift (25/1), Thomas Blossom (33/1)

Verdict

ALL IS GOOD has room to move from his current mark over fences and is taken as the one to side with if he can step things up a couple of notches after a solid effort last time out. Come On Charlie was a tired horse at the finish last time but he's probably better than the bare form and may be worth a punt over this shorter trip, while Triple Chief is a previous C&D winner that can pick up the pieces if he responds to the first-time headgear. Not many will be suited by a lot of rain beforehand so close scrutiny of the whole betting market is advised.
  1. All Is Good
  2. Come On Charlie
  3. Triple Chief
