Fibresand newcomer who had a light campaign as a three-year-old winning over 1m4f on soft ground at Hamilton second time out. Failed to build on that run when last seen over the longest trip he's tried; back from a break, now into handicaps.
Tried on two other AW surfaces; yet to be tested on Fibresand having shaped well with a view to running in handicaps. Looked far from the finished article when doing so; now steps up in trip (may suit); could well have more to offer in this sphere.
Course winner over 1m4f (1-1 on Fibresand); overcame a higher mark to win over the same trip at Newcastle (won with plenty in hand). Not disgraced in a much higher grade on Tapeta last time; will appreciate the ease in grade/return to Fibresand.
Fibresand newcomer who showed some useful form when with Higo Palmer but has shown little since leaving his care in three starts for his current yard. Fared no better for the addition of first-time blinkers on his latest outing; limited appeal.
Looked to be being brought along with handicaps in mind when with Alan King (three maiden runs) before running exclusively over hurdles for this yard. Failed to show much in handicaps of late; should be competitive in this sphere; Fibresand newcomer.
Has a rather unconvincing profile despite a couple of 1m2f handicap wins (one on the AW); back down to his last winning mark. Last two efforts separated by a beak have been well below-par; others have far more solid claims on his Fibresand debut.
Maiden 1m2f good ground turf winner in Germany before failing to give her running when last of five in a 1m novice (Tapeta) last time out on GB/stable debut. Significantly up in trip for her handicap/Fibresand debut; market positive should be noted.

There are likely to be a few that may be capable of showing more now that they are into handicap company but it’s ROYAL COSMIC who has already scored over C&D who sets the standard and gains the vote having run well since that victory here. Just Wait from the powerful Johnston yard is sure to show more having found trips further than this a little beyond her last year. Lovely Approach is of a similar ilk and still looks unexposed while Royal Sunday and Quila Saeda are two others who can’t be ignored in this competitive heat.
