Showed plenty of ability first-time out and only beaten by his inexperience in the end over 7f by a fellow newcomer who looks a useful prospect. Despite being back to 6f he boasts obvious claims given that debut run and the experience gained from it.
Debutante by Equiano who has a reasonable record as a sire on Fibresand. Cost €10,000 as a two-year-old; dam placed at 5f on the AW as a juvenile. Trainer has only had three runners this year (6-114 last five years); market may be best guide.
Most experienced of these having had four outings as a two-year-old (made his debut on Tapeta); moderately fancied in the market each time. Well held when last seen on handicap debut over 1m; now makes seasonal/Fibresand debut.
Debutante for a yard who have started the season well with the sire having a decent record here. Cost €32,000 as a yearling; half-sister to 6f-7f winner Hikmaa including on AW/Listed company; newcomer to note in the market.
Trainer has a good record here and despite a below-par debut as a juvenile this daughter of Passing Glance deserves respect. Hopelessly green on debut she's entitled to do better now as a three-year-old.
Newcomer from the same yard as the sure to be better fancied Lofty by Lilbourne Lad out of an unraced dam who nonetheless was quite well related. Best watched unless the market sees some inspired support.
Knew what was required on her debut but only ran to a modest level over 6f at Pontefract and went backwards from that initial outing when dropped to 5f next time. Now encounters Fibresand for the first time on her first run of the season.

This looks a good opportunity for Lofty to put his track experience to good use but he may just prove vulnerable to one of the newcomers in the shape of the Archie Watson trained INSPIRED THOUGHT. The Watson stable are going well and this daughter of Dandy Man won’t need to be anything special to make a winning debut. Laura’s Legacy for another yard that do well here and have made a good start to the season should put her debut run behind her with Tease Maid another who can step forward on what she’s shown so far.
