Musselburgh form figures read (1,3,2,1,1), so clearly a force to be reckoned with over C&D; 4lb higher than for the second of those back-to-back wins in September 2018.
A standing dish on the Scottish circuit for many a year now, and a regular winner in her prime over this particular C&D; finished fifth to Jacob's Pillow in this race in 2018, and now rated 6lb lower.
Remains a maiden on turf (0-11) and hasn't quite been in the same form on the AW this winter as was the case in the 2017/18 winter campaign; 9lb lower than when finishing 2¾L third to Manshood at Newcastle (5f) in November.
Very difficult to win with (1-46); has promised to come good, without fully delivering the goods on plenty of occasions in the past; the ability lurks somewhere within, and there's no denying that he's very well handicapped off a mark of 63.
Better on turf (8-69) than on the AW (1-15); handles both a sound and soft surface on grass; competes off the same mark as when making all to beat Royal Connoisseur by ¾L in a veterans' handicap at Ayr (6f, soft) in October.
Took an eternity to break her duck on turf, but is a grand little mare who tries really hard, and is now a three-time winner over 6f; should benefit from a recent run, albeit others are preferred; stablemate of Lord Of The Glen.
5lb higher than when making all to beat Another Angel by a comfortable 3½L at Newcastle in December; poor since (has dwelt), so connections turn to the newly applied blinkers seeking a revival.
Has toiled on the AW since finishing a close-up third to Gilmer at Redcar (6f, soft) in October; the percentage call is to oppose.
Pushed out to take a basement grade (Class 7) 5f handicap at Wolverhampton in January; not so effective since, and hasn't won on turf since his days with Michael Dods (July 2017); remains very competitively handicapped on his peak form.

Our Place in Loule is a standing dish here at Musselburgh, and another course specialist the veteran Economic Crisis is also worthy of consideration. However, we'll opt for the brave (and possibly the foolish) option with the devilishly difficult to win with GAMESOME. In many respects a win record of 1-46 speaks volumes, but this frustrating 8yo also clearly has a fair bit of ability within, and the hope is that the vastly experienced Paul Mulrennan can find the required gaps latest of all in a race which is certain to be run at a frenetic early pace.
