Half-brother to Cooperess and Sixties Habana, both winners for this yard, quietly fancied to run well in the Brocklesby at the weekend and showed some promise in finishing sixth. Likely to improve for the experience.

£3,000 yearling, bred to have some speed about him and finished just behind Birkenhead at Doncaster on Saturday, although weakened out of it a bit quickly. Chances from a decent draw if finishing off a bit better.

£27,000 yearling, makes some appeal on breeding but may need further than this and yard not know for 2yo winners. Best watched.

€22,000 yearling, no immediate promise to be taken from his run on Saturday where he finished well behind a couple of these in the Brocklesby and has plenty of work to do to tun the form around.
Third foal, dam 5f winner and a half-sister to useful handicapper Boots and Spurs (7f-1m). Yard often get sharp, early types ready for these races and is worth a look in the market at the very least.

€35,000 yearling, third foal and half-sister to the useful Simmy's Copshop (won on debut as a 2yo). Yard have an excellent 29% strike rate with their 2yos here, and this one has to be of interest on debut despite the poor draw.

Bred to be speedy and should handle the surface, dam 6f winner and a half-sister to 6f/7f winner Dutch Destiny. but not best drawn for debut and yard just 2-29 with their 2yos here. Market the best guide as to chance.

Cost 20,000 guineas as a yearling, half-sister to winners Rosina (who won at 5f as a 2yo) and Don't Have It Then. Yard just 8% with their 2yos here but pedigree makes her of some interest and is worth a look for market support.

Cheap purchase at 800 guineas as a 2yo and makes only limited appeal on breeding. However, should handle the surface and yard do get the odd 2yo winner here, so keep an eye on her in the market is the advice.

Forecasts

Birkenhead (6/5), Heer We Go Again (5/2), Electric Ladyland (4/1), Forced (8/1), Is She The One (20/1), Victochop (20/1), Fajoora (20/1), Lakeview (28/1), Bainne Dubh (33/1), Hypochondriac (33/1)

Verdict

Birkenhead and Heer We Go Again finished sixth and seventh respectively in the Brockesbly on Saturday and there's no doubt the experience will not have been wasted on them, but maybe newcomer ELECTRIC LADYLAND can overcome a poor draw to score on debut. She could be a sharp 2yo on her breeding and the yard get plenty of juvenile winners here. Bainne Dubh and Hypochondriac are worthy of consideration too.
  1. Electric Ladyland
  2. Birkenhead
  3. Hypochondriac
