Arcano filly who was bought for only €1,000 as a yearling, but is a half-sister to five winners from 5f to 7f. Belated debut and is best watched.
Harbour Watch filly who cost just £600 as a two-year-old. Raced keenly when tailed-off last of 13 in a Newbury bumper and needs to show much more on her second appearance on the racecourse. Tongue tie for the first time.
Has shown little in five starts in bumpers and novice events. Hard to see her making an impact and she is likely to be seen to better effect in handicaps.
Placed three times in five outings on turf, but has been out of the frame in three AW starts. By no means disgraced when beaten just over two lengths in fifth at Wolverhampton last time and that form gives her a chance in a moderate contest.
Six races as a juvenile and was placed in three of them, including a second in a contest in France. No world beater, but clearly has sound prospects in this company on return to action.
Best run so far when third of eight in a maiden auction event at Lingfield in January. Seems to be getting the hang of things and can figure if taking another step forward.
Phoenix Reach half-sister to decent middle-distance performer Lorelina. Ran green, but showed signs of talent, when sixth of 10 over 1m at this venue in October and looks a player for in-form stable on her seasonal reappearance.
Only limited promise in three races, most recently when fifth of six, beaten over 7L, at Wolverhampton. Needs to show much more if she is to figure.
Casamento filly whose dam was unplaced as a juvenile. Not the most eyecatching of pedigrees, but respected stable has booked a leading jockey for debut and any market support should be noted.
Forecasts
Moment Of Hope (5/4), Ballet Red (7/2), Vampish (5/1), Bolt N Brown (6/1), Luck Of Clover (13/2), Maria Magdalena (33/1), Annabelle Fritton (50/1), Lovely Jubbly (100/1), Puzzle Cache (125/1)
A maiden which may not take a lot of winning so any support for debutant Moment Of Hope would be interesting. Vampish and Ballet Red boast the best form, but both look vulnerable so it may be worth siding with LUCK OF CLOVER, who shaped quite well on her debut last autumn and may improve for the step up in trip and her winter break.
- Luck Of Clover
- Ballet Red
- Vampish
