Lightly-raced maiden under rules, decent third at Gowran Park (3m1f, soft) on second start in this sphere, despite early mistakes, and faces an easier task on paper now; should have a say in the finish.
Runner-up in a Kilbeggan bumper in August on second start under rules, has twice won in point-to-points since (including this month) and looks a solid contender in this contest.
Point-to-point form has deteriorated and he was pulled up on his last two hunter chase starts in a weaker races than this. Opposable once more.

Long-standing maiden under rules (21 races) but has displayed some positive form, latest when third at Down Royal (2m3½f, soft to heavy) in a hunter chase last weekend, outrunning odds of 50-1 when beaten under 6L. Up in trip now.
Winner of a couple of point-to-points before now but was pulled up both previous starts in a races of this nature. Another who faces a stiff test judging by the level of recent form in point-to-point this spring.

Maiden pointer, runner-up on only completed start in maiden point-to-point this month (previously failed to get around in three attempts). More on his plate for rules bow.
Morozov gelding, narrow scorer at second time of asking in maiden point-to-point last month at Oldtown. Could be more to come going under rules and time on his side.

Alkaadhem mare, winner in point-to-point sphere but overall record not that strong and may find a few too good on first start under rules.
Has a 2-16 record in point-to-points and, she does not look up to this standard of competition having been pulled up this month already in similar contest at Gowran Park (Billaway third in same contest).
Nothing of note in rules record (bumper/hurdles) so far, was runner-up in a point-to-point on debut for this yard last month but since unseated rider on next attempt. Lacks form of a few of these.

Forecasts

Billaway (10/11), Decor Irlandais (3/1), Tareeshar (4/1), Cosmic Flight (5/1), Like A Demon (8/1), Jimmil (20/1), Our Bonus (25/1), All Ears (33/1), Donjon (40/1), Loggan Lady (50/1), Puff My Pistons (50/1)

Verdict

Billaway boasts the pick of the form under rules after his recent third at Gowran Park and might prove a tough nut to crack dropped back in maiden company for the Mullins' but DECOR IRLANDIS has plenty potential too. Second in a bumper at Kilbeggan last summer, he's twice scored in point-to-points since, is race-fit and is a viable contender for the in-form Noel Kelly yard. Cosmic Flight and Tareeshar may be involved in the scrap for minors.
