Declared at Kelso 3.35 Saturday. Returned to form when 7L second at Ayr (2m5f, soft) last time. Same mark here and new headgear combination now being tried. Not ruled out.
Has been showing bits of improvement until disappointing last time at Plumpton (3m1f, soft). Bit to prove after that, but has bounced back from a fall already this season, so can't be ruled out.
Understandable that he needed his reappearance after over a year off. Built nicely on that when beaten just over 4L at Ayr (3m, good to soft) last time. Should be spot on now and he has claims from this mark.
Won a Perth novice chase (3m, soft) last April for Iain Jardine. Did that too well for his own good in terms of handicapping. Has been more competitive since reverting to hurdles and he should be thereabouts again here.
C&D winner (good to soft) two starts ago, when 7lb lower. Finished 11L behind J'Ai Froid at Exeter last time, however, so has a fair bit to do to reverse those placings. Cheekpieces now fitted.
1-22 over hurdles in Ireland. Has changed hands since last seen at Limerick in December. Would only be of interest today if there was a significant market move for him on this stable debut.
Scored over C&D last February (heavy), when 8lb lower. Has been inconsistent since then. Best for would give him claims, but hard to be confident that he will produce that.
Goes well here but, as was the case last time, he does not look the easiest of rides. Drops 2lb and can't totally rule him out of the money, but this trip may ask too much of his stamina.
Goes well on testing ground, but is without a win for almost three years and recent efforts have been very short of encouragement.
Veteran who was beaten a long way on his return from a lengthy absence earlier this month. Can only watch.

Forecasts
Some Can Dance (11/8), Royal Claret (7/2), Sammy B (11/2), Longhousesignora (6/1), J'Ai Froid (6/1), Creep Desbois (8/1), Pistol (9/1), Moidore (12/1), Rainy City (12/1), Letemgo (14/1), Rivabodiva (16/1), Cairnshill (28/1), Captain Clayton (66/1)
Sammy B looks ready to give a very good account this time and he can go close, but preference is just for J'AI FROID, who is taken to defy a 5lb rise and follow-up his Exeter win for a stable in form. Royal Claret looks a big danger, with Rainy City, Longhousesignora and Rivabodiva others who could make their presence felt.
- J'Ai Froid
- Royal Claret
- Sammy B
