Only 1lb higher than January win at Haydock now after two subsequent fourths off higher marks. Likes to front run so much will depend on whether he can get uncontested lead. Should at least make the frame.
C&D win latest his fourth of a highly fruitful campaign. Latest 6lb hike means he's now gone up a total of 25lb which is in equal measure concerning and encouraging. Not ruled out.
Three-time hurdle winner made a pretty encouraging start over fences when a close third at Leicester despite hanging right under pressure. That would concern going left handed here but otherwise plenty to like.
Sandown specialist (last five runs there) was a sound enough third there last time off this mark. Jumps well and is pretty consistent but handicapper probably has his measure for win purposes.
Easy winner on chase debut at Worcester last August but less impressive since with a tailed off third of five at Kempton latest another disappointment. Others of more appeal.
Often comes into his own late on in the season as he showed by winning this race 12-months ago and following up at Ludlow. Little to shout about however this term in nine starts and particularly moderate effort last time.
Won by 50L at Plumpton, his first ever success but only two finished. Second next at Exeter before fifth latest at the same venue. More needed here and all three chase starts on heavy ground so conditions here very different.

Duhallow Lad (7/2), Lillington (4/1), Master Work (9/2), Rock On Rocky (5/1), Dicosimo (11/2), Darebin (8/1), Admiral's Secret (12/1), Holryale (25/1)
Unexposed MASTER WORK ran well enough on debut over fences at Leicester and although this is tougher and he hung right there he is risked in a race lacking strength in depth. Dicosimo should go well off this mark and is respected with rapid improver Lillington also worthy of consideration.
- Master Work
- Dicosimo
- Lillington
