Already proven to be a smart juvenile with wins at Warwick and Ludlow (under penalty) before an excellent second to the smart Quel Destin in a Doncaster Grade Two. Flat third latest should have sharpened him up so merits serious respect.
Produced an eye-catching third on debut for this yard and made no mistake in two subsequent wins in small fields. Fred Winter at Cheltenham saw him struggle but faced soft ground for first time there and this won't be nearly as hot; respected.
Three-year-old hurdle winner in France was subsequently twice placed in chases. Started out in red-hot Adonis (Grade Two) when well beaten before better effort latest at Sandown (second). Improvement possible and could go close here.
Won on debut for this yard and placed twice in four starts since including latest in 15-runner Warwick contest. Still improving it seems but others less exposed.
Twice raced in France before joining this top yard and making all in a Taunton contest in December. Not sure that form amounts to a great deal but he's obviously open to any amount of improvement so must be respected.
Finished second in last three of four starts over hurdles although last two both slightly disappointing relative to position in the market. Connections alone mean he merits respect but others are preferred.
Perth maiden winner was second when sent to France two starts back but well held since at Cheltenham. May be biting off more than he can chew in this company.
Progressive flat performer placed in all four hurdle starts to date including second at Sandown latest in first handicap. Upped 4lb here but jockey booking very much catches the eye and remains on the up.
Catterick maiden hurdle winner second in two starts since at Doncaster and Sedgefield. This demands more and suspect his best trip will be a good bit further in time.
Newcastle maiden winner was 66/1 when a remote third of four behind the high class Quel Destin latest. This won't be quite as tough but nevertheless overall form appears short.
Placed in first three starts over hurdles in summer-autumn before recent return from four months off saw him fourth over C&D. May come on for that run now but will need to do so if he's to get involved.
Fontwell winner was fourth of five in a Chepstow Grade One two starts back before finishing midfield to smart mare Giving Glances latest in a Listed race. Suspect this mark reasonable and yard won race 12-months back so plenty of positives.
Runner-up in first-time cheekpieces on handicap debut beaten 5L by Tim Rocco; now a 12-race maiden (0-3 over hurdles), yet must enter the equation off bottom-weight even though 1lb out of the handicap.
Remote third of four at Sandown latest his best run so far in four starts but even that a long way short of the best of these and looks one for further down the line.

In a fiendishly difficult contest where the vast majority of these are handicapping for the first time a chance is taken on ELYSEES whose second to Quel Destin in a Grade Two when last over hurdles rates very smart form. Paul Nicholls' Friend Or Foe won his only start for the yard so must be respected also. Gary Moore won this last year and his filly Tazka is another of interest here.
