Needs covering up off a strong pace and best efforts have come over further. Rider was 12-32 for the yard in 2018 and current mark is just 1lb higher than when last successful.
Triple C&D winner partnered by a rider who has steered him to his last two successes. May need this after a break and he looks a couple of pounds too high in the weights.
Both wins have come over 5f but he made a bold bid over C&D two weeks ago when shooting clear from a wide draw and only fading in the final 50 yards. That was his first run in nine months and he is dropped in class tonight.
Hard to catch right and he has been gelded during the winter. Produced two good efforts in better company at York last year but difficult to be convinced he will perform to that standard here.
Has been delivered late to win his last three under this rider and has now won here five times. Has little more to do than when scoring last time and should get the strong gallop he requires.
Has always managed to win at least one race a year but clearly not the force he was and his mark has slipped from a peak of 101. Shaped well in much better company last time and a good pace would help.
Won back-to back races over C&D in January. Behind Treacherous on his last two starts and that rival would be expected to confirm the form again.
Won over 7f at Lingfield in January, but disappointing in four subsequent starts, including over C&D last time when well behind Treacherous. Poorly drawn and of very limited appeal.

Forecasts
Treacherous (3/1), Reckless Endeavour (7/2), Soldier's Minute (5/1), Breaking Records (11/2), Choice Encounter (6/1), Compas Scoobie (8/1), Global Academy (10/1), Lightning Charlie (10/1), Big Lachie (12/1), Kodiline (33/1)
Treacherous holds a few of these on recent form and the four-timer is definitely on. Global Academy went off like a scalded cat here on his comeback run and only folded in the final 50 yards. He is feared with Tom Marquand taking the reins, but he may set this up for RECKLESS ENDEAVOUR who appeared to have found his right mark when a close fourth last time and now takes a two grade drop. The booking of Jamie Spencer signals some confidence and he looks the ideal partner to deliver him late in a race where judging the fractions will be vital.
