Scoring for the eighth time on the AW and the seventh occasion at this venue when winning a C&D handicap a week ago. Clearly in good heart, but has more to do under his 6lb penalty.
Slightly better form on turf, but acts on the AW as he showed when winning a 2m Kempton handicap last summer. First run since last July when fourth of eight over this distance at Wolverhampton earlier this month and should be sharper this time.
Experienced campaigner who won this last year and ran a solid race to be third of seven to Petite Jack over C&D last week. Reopposes on 6lb better terms and should be straighter for that first run for 266 days.
Registered his tenth career win when awarded the race at the expense of Petite Jack over C&D last month. Went down by only a head and is 6lb better off, so his chance is obvious,
C&D winner in September and was having his first run since that success when a well-held fourth of seven over 1m2f at Kempton last month. Should strip fitter for the run and return to this venue is a plus.
Won a 1m2f Wolverhampton novice event on debut, but has drawn a blank in six subsequent starts. Good efforts to finish second twice over this distance at the back end of last year, but disappointed in cheekpieces last time and a visor is tried.

Forecasts
Petite Jack (9/4), Amazing Red (3/1), Fire Fighting (4/1), Maybe Today (6/1), Exceeding Power (8/1), Not After Hours (8/1), Oasis Fantasy (9/1)
Petite Jack is in top form, but his penalty leaves him vulnerable, especially to EXCEEDING POWER, who ought to beat him at these weights on their recent running against each other. Last year's winner Fire Fighting is in the mix after running well on his first start following a long absence, while chances can also be given to Amazing Red and Oasis Fantasy. Maybe Today needs to improve for the application of a visor.
