Djin Conti³^{(ex 7)}

Age: 6| Weight: 12-5| J: B S Hughes| T: H Whittington| OR: 112

1/1

Showed improvement to score at Southwell (3m, soft) on Monday, with front pair well clear there. Good chance for him to defy his penalty and enjoy a quick follow-up success here.

Form: 932641

Fly Rory Fly^p,t¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Lucy Alexander| T: N W Alexander| OR: 111

4/1

Game success last time in a similar race at Kelso. Runner-up has made that form look very solid since then. Has a 4lb rise to contend with, but entitled to claims again here.

Form: 4-26441

Late Date⁵³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Alain Cawley| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 100| CD

13/8

C&D winner (soft) in December, when 2lb lower. Some way below that form in two starts since, including back here last time, leaving him a bit to prove.

Form: 65-P1P4

Forecasts

Djin Conti (1/1), Late Date (13/8), Fly Rory Fly (4/1)

A small field, so possibly a tactical battle in prospect here. DJIN CONTI improved nicely when scoring on Monday, and he is taken to defy a penalty and add to that win. Fly Rory Fly looks next best after his recent success, with Late Date a potential fly in the ointment, but who needs to better his last two efforts.
