Arcadio filly makes her debut here for a trainer with only one hurdles runners in the previous 12 months, which was a winner. Worth a market check.
Maiden on the Flat and pulled up only previous try over timber in a Leopardstown maiden at Christmas. Poor since in basement-grade AW contest in England.

Dandy Man filly with modest record in ten starts on the Flat, mostly over sprint trip but more recently at up to 1m. Makes hurdles bow now.

Filly by Cloudings out of a Mountain High mare. Dam unraced half-sister to 2m7f/3m hurdle winner Princess Tiana out of useful bumper/2m4f hurdle winning half-sister to 2m7f - 3m1f chase winner Good Time Melody. Pulled up at Wexford on debut.

By Dutch Art out of a Galileo mare, ex-Charlie Hills inmate but showed nothing in three Flat outings (two for this handler) to warrant supporting on hurdles debut.

Rock of Gibraltar filly is a half-sister to 1m/1m1f winner Kashif. Didn't run badly here in 1m2f Flat maiden on debut in May, though unable to progress in two further runs. Tackles jumps on first start for able-trainer Denis Hogan.

Fame And Glory filly, didn't create a strong impression this month on point-to-point debut at Ballycahane (pulled up having never travelled). Makes rules bow.

Second of 22 in Fairyhouse maiden (2m, yielding) last month was a big step in the right direction on fourth hurdles start, though took a backwards move since at Navan. Finds a weak-looking contest to try and bounce back.
Won a 1m maiden on the Flat at Listowel in September on heavy ground, well held in one run since at Navan in October. Returns from a break to go jumping and worth a betting check.

Elusive Pimpernel filly out of a Kris mare. Tailed off a Navan (2m, yielding; 100-1) this month on hurdles bow, has plenty more to locate on that evidence.
Filly well held in four Flat starts, including a run in Listed company. Second runner for the yard in this field and worth paying attention to their places in the betting.
Frozen Power filly who looked slow on only start on Flat and little better in three starts so far over timber. Very hard to enthuse over.

Westerner filly, yard are 0-52 with hurdler over the previous 12 months. Can only be watched on debut, unless market is positive.

Forecasts

Ocean Voyage (8/13), Quinns Red Rose (4/1), Silvretta Schwarz (6/1), Kashika (16/1), Westernerona (18/1), Divine Lucy (25/1), Garrylawn (25/1), Elegant Lass (33/1), Kilbeggan Glory (40/1), Effernock Fizz (66/1), Thefaithfulindian (66/1), Shadow Board (100/1), Ivaldi (100/1)

Verdict

OCEAN VOYAGE was disappointing at Navan last time but a reproduction of her previous Fairyhouse second should be more than enough to see her grab the opener for Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell. In a race where it is tough to recommend many, Listowel Flat winner Quinns Red Rose can be given a chance while any support for Divine Lucy or stablemate Westernerona would be notable.
  1. Ocean Voyage
  2. Quinns Red Rose
  3. Divine Lucy
