Winner at Ludlow on debut and then ran at least as well under a penalty at Ascot last time, already looking in need of further. Never easy to win these race sunder penalises but respected all the same.

Sent off big prices both starts and shown next to nothing. Easy enough to pass over here.
Looks in need of both time and more of a trip on what she's shown in two starts so far, and hard to fancy here.
Half-sister to useful novice hurdler Dickie Diver, and dam well related too. Yard not really known for first time out winners though, so may be best watched today.

Tailed off on only start at Newbury, looking short of pace, and has no realistic chance on that here.
Half-sister to 2m5f hurdle winner Just A Feeling, dam related to some good staying chase types and likely we won't see the best of her until getting more of a trip, but yard respected in these events.

Makes only limited appeal on pedigree and yard are 0-12 in bumpers last five seasons, so easy enough to look elsewhere for the winner.
Third runner in this from the Neil Mulholland yard, won't see the best of her until getting more of a trip and some obstacles, but market can guide as to her chance in relation to her stablemates.
Point-to-point winner in January, but it was only a modest affair and yard rarely have runners in this sphere. Others preferred.

Last of 14 on debut at Ascot and first time tongue tie here needs to make a massive difference.
Related to a few winners but yard just 1-9 in bumpers here last five years and on that, others make a bit more appeal.

Half-sister to useful hurdler The Saint James, and yard 1-8 in bumpers here last five years, so is at least worth a glance in the market for any support.

Tailed off both starts in bumpers so far and looks of limited ability already. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Decent pedigree, dam an unraced sister to the useful 2m4f-3m hurdle winner Whisky Yankee, yard among the winners and are 3-12 with their bumper runners here last five years. More interesting than most.

Forecasts

Subway Surf (4/7), Vienna Court (5/1), Miss Jeanne Moon (7/1), Just Gone Midnight (8/1), Streets Of Fire (14/1), Sumelia (14/1), Golden Emblem (20/1), On The Quiet (20/1), River Bend (20/1), Love Of Midnight (33/1), Flowing Cadenza (66/1), Highdawn (66/1), Tybielass (200/1), Amlovi (200/1), Isobel Bleu (200/1)

Verdict

Subway Surf looks the one to beat on the form she's shown to date, but carrying a penalty in these events is never easy and she has to give a stone of weight away to VIENNA COURT, who makes plenty of appeal on paper and Nigel Twiston-Davies knows the time of day in bumpers. The market will be the best guide as to the chances of the Neil Mulholland trio but Miss Jeanne Moon looks the likeliest one of his. Just Gone Midnight is another to consider.
  1. Vienna Court
  2. Subway Surf
  3. Miss Jeanne Moon
