Won once from nine Flat starts for Hughie Morrison, that win coming at Leicester (1m2f) in August from a mark of 72. Failed to repeat that form subsequently, but can't be ruled out now going hurdling for new yard.

Showed a fair level of ability at around 1m2f on the Flat in France, but she has been too free to do herself full justice in two starts over hurdles for current yard. Tongue tied now, and may yet do better.
Nearer last than first on all four starts under Rules so far, and hard to make a case for her here.

Well beaten in a seller on only Flat start, but showed ability when third on hurdles bow at Ludlow last month, albeit beaten a long way. Needs to show she can build on that.
Showed enough in two bumpers to suggest she will make her presence felt over hurdles, but needs to improve on a slightly disappointing fourth at Fontwell in December on her first attempt.

Won off a mark of 72 over 1m1f at Carlisle in August, and set to run with credit when falling in a Listed event at Aintree on her hurdles debut in December. The one to beat if that hasn't knocked her confidence.

Much her best effort in this sphere when fourth of 9 to Montestrel in juvenile at Chepstow on debut, but she hasn't built on that at all in two subsequent outings, and may well be flattered by that bare form.

Dam won over hurdles, and thsi daughter of Dr Massini shaped with plenty of promise when 8L fifth of 10 to Organdi in a 2m3f novice at Taunton starting out over hurdles. Every chance if showing normal improvement.

Forecasts

Miss Mumtaz (11/4), Pilgrim Soul (3/1), Timassini (3/1), Furia D'Oudairies (7/1), Bossiney Bay (7/1), Dariya (20/1), Emily Webb (22/1), Makin It (33/1), Devious Dicks Dame (150/1)

Verdict

MISS MUMTAZ had an unfortunate experience on her hurdling debut at Aintree, but was running on in pleasing style when falling, and she is the pick of these on that evidence. Timassini also comes here having shaped well at the first attempt, and looks the main threat, with Furia D'Oudairies also considered for all she didn't fire when last seen.
  1. Miss Mumtaz
  2. Timassini
  3. Furia D'Oudairies
