Made all to win at Fontwell (2m2f, soft) last month, when 7lb lower. Made mistakes at Stratford last time, when unable to dominate from this mark. More needed.
Sole win came over hurdles (soft) in 2013. Chase form of last spring would entitle him to claims from this mark, but powers on the wane judged on this season's form.
Scored here over 3m1f (soft) in December, when 9lb lower, but held in all three starts since then. Tries new headgear, but needs improvement back in trip if he is to win again.

Potentially trappy. The Tin Miner will need a decent pace to bring his proven stamina into play over this sorter trip. If anything can supply that, it may be Le Capricieux, but that is not guaranteed, and Gary Moore's charge needs some improvement. Vicenzo Mio has shown enough ability to get involved, but has to step up on this season's form, and the vote goes to THE DUBAI WAY, who has shown promise over fences and is taken to make a winning debut for Charlie Mann.
