Graasten²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Joshua Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 132| BF| C

9/2

Goes well here, having won twice over shorter trips. Also acts with cut in the ground. Jumped left at times when beaten at 1-8 here last time. Up in trip now and every chance that he will stay. Has claims from this initial mark.

Morney Wing^p,t²³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-3| J: Rex Dingle⁽⁵⁾| T: C J Mann| OR: 130| C| D

9/2

Dour stayer who won the Sussex National (3m4f, soft) here in 2017, when 7lb lower, as well as this season's London National (3m5f) when 9lb lower. Up 1lb for another excellent effort in the Eider last time, but needs to pull out more from this mark.

Form: 6-13213

Enjoy Responsibly²⁶

Age: 10| Weight: 11-1| J: Harrison Beswick⁽⁷⁾| T: O Sherwood| OR: 128

6/1

Both British wins have been over 2m5f at Fakenham. Acts on soft. Still 6lb higher than his last success. Unexposed over this trip, and shapes as though he will see it out, but still more needed based on his latest Doncaster run.

Form: 10-5333

Another Venture^v1²⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: M Hamill⁽³⁾| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 128

7/4

Prominent racer. Back on the same mark as his most recent win at Hereford (3m1f, soft) last year. Struggled in better company since, but step back in right direction last time. Change of headgear here, but has yet to win in any.

Form: 134-565

Holly Bush Henry^p,t¹⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen| T: P W Middleton| OR: 127| C

3/1

Last success was at the expense of Morney Wing at Fakenham (3m, heavy) last year, when 4lb higher. Has bettered that just once in 10 subsequent starts, and recent efforts have lacked encouragement.

Forecasts

Another Venture (7/4), Holly Bush Henry (3/1), Morney Wing (9/2), Graasten (9/2), Enjoy Responsibly (6/1)

An interesting contest. Another Venture is back on a winning mark and has conditions to suit, so he would be no shock winner, while Enjoy Responsibly and the admirable Morney Wing each can have cases made, but need to pull out a bit more. Therefore, the suggestion is GRAASTEN, who is inexperienced by comparison, and does also need to do better than his latest run here last time. A chance is taken that he can do so now upped in trip.
