Fell on point-to-point debut in February last year but made amends when the sole finisher on soft-to-heavy ground the following month. Represents a top yard and is a notable runner on Rules debut.
Unraced son of Born King and a half-brother to winning jumper Flight Zero. Wears a hood on debut for a yard with a 22% strike-rate (2/9) of late.
Unraced Dream Ahead gelding and a half-brother to Flat and jumps winner Cactus Valley. Wears a tongue tie on racecourse debut.
Unraced Diamond Boy gelding bought for £100,000 as a three-year-old in May 2017. Dam unraced and represents top connections with a hood worn for his debut.
Good effort when finishing a neck second in a bumper over 2m on soft going at Cork in January. Given a break since and is one for the shortlist on this occasion.
Unraced son of Presenting cost connections €100,000 at the sales in June 2017. Dam won over hurdles and market support would be notable on debut.
Placed on both bumper starts so far including when runner-up over 2m at Fairyhouse (good) in January. Interesting to see how he fares on this occasion.
Improved on debut effort when finishing 16L third in a 2m3f bumper at Naas (yielding) in January. Likely more needed if he is to take this event.
Caught the eye when finishing 15L fourth in a maiden hurdle won by a subsequent Grade 1 winner at Leopardstown (good-to-yielding) in December. Tongue tie worn for the first time in this contest.
Placed on both previous starts including when runner-up in a good ground bumper at Punchestown in December. Previously third in a valuable contest there in April and is likely to play a leading role once more.
Ran well to finish third in a 14 runner bumper over an extended 2m when debuting at Down Royal (yielding) in December. Likely to have improved for the experience.
Unraced son of Winged Love and a half-brother to winner One Cool Guy. Probably best watched on debut for a small stable.
Impressive 30L winner of a point-to-point on yielding-to-soft ground just over 12 months ago. Purchased for £230,000 subsequently and looks likely to play a leading role for a top yard on Rules debut.
Struggled in a couple of bumpers and it was a similar story switched to hurdles at Leopardstown (2m4f, good-to-yielding) in December. Hood (first time) replaces the blinkers won last time out.

A classy looking bumper can go the way of SANTANA PLESSIS who has placed on both previous bumper starts and he looks capable of going one better than when finishing runner-up at Punchestown last time out. The Big Getaway was an expensive purchase following his maiden point-to-point victory and he can take second for a top yard while third place can go to Lucky Ranger who performed well when fourth in a maiden hurdle on debut in December.
- Santana Plessis
- The Big Getaway
- Lucky Ranger
