Gelding by Getaway out of a Supreme Leader mare. Improved with a promising second of 13 beaten ½L when just headed near the finish in a Punchestown bumper last month. Worth a market check with another bold run on the cards.
Well Chosen gelding who dam was unraced sister to Irish National winner Hear The Echo. Beat only one rival home having gone off at 50/1 for Navan bumper on debut.
Winner of a May point-to-point last year but has generally underperformed in three disappointing bumper efforts since returning to the track in January. Possibly best watched unless market suggests otherwise.
From a good family and fences will be his thing in time. Second of seven in a Limerick bumper when last seen over 15 months ago. Big ask and looks up against it on return.
Gelded son of Stowaway out of a Bob Back mare. Possibilities of improvement from debut run when finishing fourth of nine beaten over 17L in a Fairyhouse bumper last month.
Shaping with plenty of promise in point-to-points and noteworthy that connections went to £105,000 at November sales at Cheltenham. Runner-up on both bumper starts to date and could take all the beating following on from promising last time out.
A €70,000 three-year-old, Germany gelding. He's a half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful chaser Ready Token. Third of five over 15L behind Ash Hill on debut on a Leopardstown bumper when last seen in December. More needed in this contest.
Gelding by Fame And Glory out of a Saffron Walden mare. Cost €10,000 as a three-year-old. nothing of note in two career starts to date over hurdles. Others look more convincing.
New connections paid £240,000 at the Cheltenham sales 12 months ago for the son of Presenting. Expected to improve on a below par debut at Fairyhouse in January when finishing sixth of nine beaten 10L.
Gold Well gelding out of a Rudimentary mare Improved on a couple of poor efforts to finish second of nine beaten 7L in a Fairyhouse bumper last month. More needed but place claims in light of more improvement.
Produced a couple of inadequate runs at bumper level at the turn of the year, including a 102L defeat over a similar trip at Naas on yielding ground. Hard to place any faith in.
By Doyen out of a Bob Back mare. Running well in defeat on both career starts to date including when third of 19 at Gowran Park last month. Tough ask.
Daughter of Beneficial out of a Supreme Leader mare. Failed to finish a couple of point-to-point starts but was not disgraced on rules debut when last seen in May albeit well held. Liable to find a couple stronger.
By Oscar out of a Groom Dancer mare. Well beaten on debut in a Gowran Park bumper last month when never a factor finishing over 100L adrift of the winner.
Forecasts
Braeside (11/8), Ontheropes (9/4), Itsnotinit (11/2), Fire Away (10/1), Lunch In Adare (16/1), Ificudiwud (16/1), Hell On Earth (20/1), The Rubinator (20/1), Stobak (33/1), I'mstillyourbaby (50/1), Mangan Dream (66/1), Flamin Aimee (100/1), Urban Cruiser (100/1), Honourbeforeglory (100/1)
Trainer Gordon Elliott appears to have found an ideal opening for the Presenting gelding BRAESIDE to get off the mark at the third time of asking following a couple of runner-up positions in earlier contests. The Cheltenham festival winning trainer and jockey pair can see off the attentions of Ontheropes, Hell On Earth and Ificudiwud to land the closer.
