Soft ground 2m4f Sedgefield winner last season, when 1lb higher. Acts on heavy. Has decent claims from this mark based on some of last year's form. Walked over after wind surgery latest, but needs taking seriously.
Scored on heavy at Kelso (2m2f) 11-months ago, when 1lb lower. Claims if in that form after a break (has won fresh), but has to prove he can still do it after some less auspicious efforts.
Acts on testing ground and scored on heavy at Ayr (2m3f) in November, when 4lb lower. Raced keenly when a beaten favourite from this mark at Newcastle (2m) last time. Needs to bounce back.
More miles on the clock than most and has won just eight of his 92 starts, including over C&D (soft) in 2014. Still competitive from this mark, as he showed at Wetherby last time, so can't rule him out.
Mudlark C&D winner who is 1lb higher than when scoring here last year. Ran well over 2m4f in a chase here last time, and looks a big player with conditions to suit.
Scored here over 2m4f (soft, first-time cheekpieces) in 2016 and is very well treated on her form of that season, but plenty to prove on recent evidence, and has yet to win on heavy.
Scored from 3lb higher at Sedgefield (2m1f, soft) 13-months ago. Unable to get close to that level this season, including when partnered by this 10lb claimer.
0-13. Better effort last time when beaten just over 2L over C&D (soft). 2lb 'wrong' here, but not dismissed if he can reproduce that.
