Made a good start to his chasing career, scoring at Kelso and Ayr at 2m4f-2m5f. Ran well here (2m5f) from this mark in a handicap in December. Well held when penalised at Ayr back in novice company latest and this looks tough under a double penalty.
Bumper and dual novice hurdle winner (inc. on heavy). Would probably have been second in all three chase starts, had he not fallen late-on on his debut. Form looks strong enough to have a big say here.
Not had many chase starts for his age, and has proved competent and generally consistent, without yet winning one. Has a bit to find with The Last Day, but should again give a good account.
Dual Listed hurdle winner in France. Has gone backwards on the Flat since then and looks to have a tough task on his hands returning to this code after a 2006-day gap.

Forecasts
The Last Day (4/9), Vendor (7/2), Trongate (13/2), Pookie Pekan (16/1), Zaliapour (28/1)
Trongate and Vendor are both respected here, but they are likely to be battling for minor honours behind THE LAST DAY, for whom this looks a good opportunity to break his chasing duck.
