Winning for the second time over fences when scoring by a nose in a 3m handicap chase at Wetherby (good) last month. Has to defy a 4lb rise if he is to follow-up in this event.
Multiple winning chaser but finished a well held fifth of seven in a 3m handicap chase at Market Rasen (good-to-soft) when last in action back in November 2017. Probably best watched on return from a lengthy absence.
Put a couple of disappointing efforts behind him when finishing a good third over an extended 2m6f at Leicester (good) last time out. Races off a 3lb lower mark here and is a notable runner in this contest.
Early casualty in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m4f at Newbury (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Interesting contender back over fences having placed off a much higher hurdles mark in the past.
Successful by 14L in a 2m4f handicap chase on good-to-soft ground at Lingfield in November. Not reproduced that form in two subsequent starts however and others hold stronger claims.
Unplaced in all seven starts to date and pulled up the last twice including at Leicester (good-to-firm) last month on his return from a break.
