Tends to run in snatches and did so when winning over C&D last summer. Best effort since when third at Hereford on penultimate start and claims if putting best foot forward.
Still a maiden and first attempt at this far but wasn't stopping when third over 2m7f at Lingfield last time and possible this longer trip will eke out some improvement.
Placed in weak Point-to-points. Little show in pair of hurdles but better on chase debut last month over 2m4f when staying on third. Has to prove he stays but that did offer a little to work on.
Would carry this field on the pick of last years form but has been woefully out of sorts this term in five attempts. This represents a big drop in class but plenty to prove at present.
Still in with a chance when running out 2 from home at Ffos Las last summer and has struggled for form since and suspicion that shorter trip would be preferred.
Veteran who bounced back to win at Lingfield in January but struggled since and went with little enthusiasm when pulling up on Monday.
Won this a year ago off 2lb lower but that was his only piece of form to speak of and hopes rest on a return to this venue sparking him.
