Generally consistent sort but dropped out tamely when 5/4 favourite over C&D last month. That came after a break, but had won previous start after longer absence so it is to be hoped it was a one-off.
Mark has dropped 15lb in three runs this season but that's for a reason as he has looked a light of former days. Something to prove after tame effort again at Southwell latest.
Failed in hat-trick bid at Taunton last time after a pair of wins here (fences and hurdles) but can be forgiven that having raced on the slower ground on the inside of the track. Better that that and clearly goes well here.
Unseated rider on previous attempt over fences and did so over hurdles at Sandown last week. Claims on best form but comes with risks attached.
Two wins in the mud last season. Something to prove having been well below best at Exeter recently but previous form this term puts him in the mix.
Sole chase win in 32 attempts was in 2017 and has thrown away a couple of opportunities this season when finding little off the bridle. Difficult to trust and 10lb out of the handicap.
