Colt by Rulership out of a Sunday Silence mare. Winner over C&D last month getting off the mark for connections at the second time of asking. Should be too strong on handicap debut.
Beaten over 3L on handicap debut earlier in the month but should improve for the step up in trip. Yard have a good record here in the last three years boasting a 55% win and place strike rate in the month of March.
Teofilo colt, dam a half-sister to two winners. Remains a four race maiden following a 2¾L defeat on AW debut here over 7f earlier this month. Improvement can be expected on second handicap start.
Second of 13 here over 7f earlier this month before getting the race in the stewards room when hampered close home. Another bold show looks likely off a 3lb higher mark.
Sending out mixed messages in August and September last year in four inconsistent starts on turf. On balance probably has something to find in this contest.
Filly by Australia out of a Danehill mare. Has generally disappointed in three starts to date but more can be expected on handicap debut. Yard have a 55% win and place strike rate here in March since 2016.
Moderate form in maidens at this venue including when well beaten finishing last of 13 earlier this month. Hard to enthuse over on handicap debut.
Nothing of note in four career starts since May including finishing last of eight on handicap debut when last seen in January. First time blinkers inconceivable to produce the required amount of development needed to play a role here.
Dandy Man filly out of a Dutch Art mare. Will need to improve on three dour maiden efforts towards the end of the year making handicap debut in this company.
Plenty to lie about her 2L defeat on handicap debut over 7f here earlier this month. when running out of room in the closing stages. Dangerous off a 2lb lower mark.
Forecasts
Isosceles (13/8), Cuban Hope (5/2), Gold Jasmine (4/1), Isotope (13/2), Dandy Belle (10/1), Serenely (16/1), Indiana Grey (20/1), Lyrical Attraction (33/1), Film Noir (40/1), Lavengro Lad (40/1)
The Godolphin-owned ISOSCELES can strike for the Mick Halford team on handicap debut in the closing race of the evening following a fine win last month over C&D challenging between horses to lead narrowly in the final strides. Gold Jasmine and Cuban Hope are worthy of consideration and could emerge as the biggest dangers. The Patrick Martin-trained Indiana Grey can go well at an each way price.
- Isosceles
- Gold Jasmine
- Indiana Grey
