14:25 Market Rasen Thu 14 March 2019
Bumper winner who was unlucky to run into Southfield Stone on hurdling debut. That has seen him awarded a higher mark than is warranted judged on his latest start.
Notched a quick double over C&D at the turn of the year before getting undone by his revised mark and longer trip last time. Goes well for this rider.
Hurdles record of 3-18 but best performances have come off much lower marks. Back from 14 months on the sidelines so his task looks even more difficult.
Placed once in 10 starts and beaten 13L that day. Raced too freely on return from a four month break at Catterick last month and best run came here, however he is hard to recommend with any confidence.
Possible that he's not recovered mentally from a heavy fall (when set to score) on debut at Ascot (2m, soft). Has failed to challenge over a variety of distances this term. On an attractive mark if yard can get him right so worth a market check.
Has been jumping better since an inauspicious hurdling debut. Bumper form shows he has ability and that may be more obvious here on handicap debut and with his yard in better form lately.
Dual AW winner who has yet to make the frame in five starts over hurdles. Has looked better on a sound surface and Champion Hurdle winning trainer 0-3 here. Hard to fancy, but has been found a weak race should the market anticipate a better display.
Keen going sort who improved for the drop in trip last month when third to a handicap good thing. The runner-up has franked the form since and so the omens are good.
