Off time: 17:10 | Winning time: 4m 13.80s

Potters Away

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: David England| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero

7/1

Getaway mare; half-sister to the triple 2m hurdle winner Hearts Are Trumps; stable not known for saddling bumper winners (0-25), but won't have had many better opportunities of doing so previously.

Form:

Red Reminder¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Callum Bewley| T: C Grant

33/1

Her dam was an unraced half-sister to the staying chaser Samstown, so it's no real surprise that she's struggled to make a positive impression in good ground contests at Kelso and Carlisle.

Form: 86

Takingitallin⁷⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: W T Kennedy| T: D McCain Jnr| BF

7/2

Bought for £26,000 in November after winning a five-runner 3m mares maiden at Lisronagh (good) - runner-up has won since; started 7/4f when beaten 11L by a stablemate of Theflickeringlight (Dares To Dream) in a C&D Boxing Day bumper.

Form: S22F12

Theflickeringlight³⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: P A Kirby

2/5

Flemensfirth mare; sister to the useful bumper winner Acronym; her fencing was her forte in Irish PTP's - unbeaten for Colin Motherway; race-fit and should make her presence felt on debut for Catterick-based trainer Phil Kirby.

Form: 11

Naughty Nancie

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Harry Reed⁽³⁾| T: T Reed

50/1

Bahri filly who receives an 8lb 4yo's allowance on debut for the father/son partnership Tim and Harry Reed; yard are 0-20 with their previous runners in bumpers, so others would hold more compelling claims.

Forecasts

Theflickeringlight (2/5), Takingitallin (7/2), Potters Away (7/1), Red Reminder (33/1), Naughty Nancie (50/1)

The concluding mares' bumper should rest between the former Irish pointers Takingitallin and THEFLICKERINGLIGHT. On the basis that the Catterick handler Phil Kirby should have a reasonably solid line as to the abilities of the Donald McCain-trained runner through Dares To Dream, his rules newcomer gets the nod. Her fencing technique has appeared to be her forte in those back-to-back PTP wins at Aghabullogue and Ballyvodock but equally she's not lacked for speed either and this very weak bumper rates as a realistic starting point.
