Landed bumper here and also handicap hurdle over C&D last February. Fair second here last time and up just 1lb but suspicion is better served by a larger field and guaranteed strong pace.

Still unexposed. Won Kelso novice hurdle in November before twice running with credit in defeat under penalty. Not disgraced on handicap bow at Carlisle last time when fourth to imporving sort and has solid claims off same mark.

Been campaigned over a variety of trips this season without success and drops back now to minimum. Usually held up but wouldn't want this to turn into a speed test so may race more handy this time.

Blinkered first time. Both wins have come at Bangor where seems to run his best races, but headgear may focus his mind having finished 2nd in three-runner affair over fences latest. Returning from near-four month break.

Beaten just a neck in novice hurdle over C&D in November and may have need the run here last time returning from mid-winter break. Eased 1lb and has claims with that outing under her belt.

Trainer 2-7 with runners at this track so worth a glance having landed juvenile hurdle over C&D in November. Pulled up last time in Grade 2 at Kempton but this more his level and should be very much in the thick of the action on previous efforts.

Forecasts

Kelpies Myth (13/8), Needs To Be Seen (11/4), Something Brewing (13/2), Goldencard (7/1), Cousin Oscar (10/1), West Coast Lass (11/1)

Verdict

Jockey AP Cawley travels up to Musselburgh just for the ride on NEEDS TO BE SEEN so this previous C&D winner is expected to go well off bottom weight having run in Grade 2 company last time out. Goldencard may prove the biggest danger and remains relatively unexposed, and West Coast Lass can be given a squeak on her previous running over C&D. Kelpies Myth also has a good record here and another bold show is quite likely.
  1. Needs To Be Seen
  2. Goldencard
  3. West Coast Lass
