Once-raced maiden who finished last of 10 at Thirsk when last seen running for Rebecca Menzies over 7f, soft at Thirsk. Highly unlikely to be troubling the principals here after such a long absence on first AW start.
One of the more experienced types in this his form so far has a rather uneven look about it. Second in a handicap when last seen over 1m2f (good effort) he's now switched back to maiden company and upped 2f in trip; ought to go close if fit.
Far from disgraced when making a belated debut over 1m here earlier in the month behind a John Gosden odds-on shot. Eventually beaten 11L and now steps up some 4f in trip but proven on the surface if he can back that run up.
Two runs so far have been less than encouraging both coming on the two Tapeta surfaces here and at Wolverhampton. Only raced over 1m so far and given an extra 4f to conquer here; hard to fashion a case on the evidence so far.
Irish raider who is having her fourth run for this yard having previously been with John McConnell. Beaten off a basement mark in three AW handicaps of late at up to 1m4f but hard to think she'll do much better here; limited appeal.
One of two three-year-olds in the field he improved from his juvenile debut to show promise on his first run this year stepped up to this trip. Still doesn't look the finished article (travelled well last time) but still ran green; progress likely.
Made an inauspicious debut (looked awkward) but did at least show a little more on his second start (wore first-time blinkers; retained here). Slow way last time over 1m2f he plugged on to finish midfield; needs this for a handicap mark.
Forecasts
Seeusoon (4/11), Glacier Fox (2/1), Nine Elms (14/1), Withoutdestination (20/1), The Perch (40/1), Cryogenics (500/1), Nicky Nook (500/1)
Three-year-olds (who were in the majority) dominated this race last year taking the first five placed home in a nine runner field. They won’t be able to do that this year but in the Andrew Balding trained SEEUSOON they look to have a leading candidate as Balding attempts to improve his record in maidens at the track; he’s currently 1-7 on the AW here. The main opposition looks to come from the older brigade with Glacier Fox having the form to win this if he’s ready after a long absence and also with Nine Elms if he can build on his debut run here over this longer distance. Withoutdestination is the other three-year-old in the line up but he’s not quite shown enough application so far.

- Glacier Fox
